Breathing canvas is a project resulting from the search for life experiences, emotions, experiences, tragedies, joys that the models transmit to the author in a personal interview prior to the artistic session. In this interview the most important nudity takes place, the emotional one.
The intimacy that opens before the eyes of the artist, eager for curiosity that he will later use to interpret through the brush, photography and poetry. This accumulation of disciplines revolves around the skin, the curves and the scars that form the human being that opens to be explored, altered and reinterpreted from the artist’s vision.
The result is a set of limited edition photographic works printed on Hahnemüle Studio Book & Decor 240g alphacellulose matte paper and the prestige of Hahnemüle. Unique, personal and with great care in each phase of the process, these works are consolidated as works for posterity. Each fungible copy of the works has its own certificate numbered and personally signed by the author, and which certifies the originality of the work, its numbering, technical characteristics and the literary text that accompanies and complements each image. And every copy has been tokenized by smart contract using ethereum blockchain.
Each of these images tells the story of each model, protagonists from beginning to end of the creative process, narrated through shapes, colors, dreams and words that Santiago Blas releases in their skins; canvases that breathe and show universal emotions. Pure souls open to be reinterpreted from the different perspectives of those who contemplate them.
Breathing canvas es un proyecto fruto de la búsqueda de las experiencia vital, las emociones, vivencias, tragedias, alegrías que las modelos transmiten al autor en una entrevista personal previa a la sesión artística. En esta entrevista se da el desnudo más importante, el emocional.
La intimidad que se abre ante los ojos del artista, ávido de curiosidad que más tarde utilizará para interpretar a través del pincel, de la fotografía y de la poesía. Este cúmulo de disciplinas giran en torno a la piel, las curvas y las cicatrices que forman el ser humano que se abre a ser explorado, alterado y reinterpretado desde la visión del artista.
El resultado es un conjunto de obras fotográficas de edición limitada impresas en papel Hahnemüle Studio Book & Decor mate de alfacelulosa de 240g y el prestigio de Hahnemüle. Obras Únicas, personales y con gran cuidado en cada fase del proceso hacen que se consoliden como obras para la posteridad. Cada obra lleva su certificado numerado y firmado personalmente por el autor, en el que se acredita la originalidad de la obra, su numeración, las características técnicas y el texto literario que acompaña y complementa cada imagen. Y cada copia ha sido tokenizada por contrato inteligente usando el blockchain de ethereum.
Cada una de estas imágenes cuenta la historia de cada modelo, protagonistas de principio a fin del proceso creativo, narrada a través de formas, colores, ensoñaciones y palabras que Santiago Blas libera en sus pieles; lienzos que respiran y muestran emociones universales. Almas puras abiertas a ser reinterpretadas desde las distintas perspectivas de quienes las contemplen.
